The MOTION CUP is an innovative cup with a soft, silicone, weighted straw that moves with the cup's motion, meaning the straw always stays in the drink, allowing the child to drink every last drop. After drinking, simply slide the cover to protect the straw from dirt. The cup is made of polypropylene - a durable, transparent material that does not contain the harmful substance BPA. This is for hygiene. Wash thoroughly before each use to ensure hygiene. Sterilize if necessary. Store in dry and hygienic conditions. • For boiling or sterilizing, always disassemble the cup into individual parts and leave them open; otherwise, deformation may occur. For sterilization, we recommend the NUK steam sterilizer or the NUK microwave steam sterilizer. To avoid damaging the material, always follow the usage instructions provided by the sterilizer manufacturer. • The best way to maintain the durability of colors that change with temperature is to wash the product by hand. If necessary, the product can be filled with boiling water for disinfection. Temperature-sensitive colors are sensitive to moisture and temperature and descaling agents. Frequent boiling or sterilization will cause colors to fade over time. • When disinfecting plastic cups, do not exceed the maximum allowable temperature of 100°C (as indicated on the cup)! • Do not expose the cup to direct sunlight or heat, nor leave it in disinfectants (sterilizing solutions) longer than recommended, as this may damage the material. • Always heat open cups (risk of explosion) and then cool (risk of deformation)! Special care should be taken when heating in a microwave; uneven heating of food may occur. After heating food, always stir and check the temperature before feeding. • Never fill the drinking cup with carbonated or hot beverages. The resulting pressure may cause liquid to spill. • In vacuum conditions (e.g., on airplanes), leaks may occur. • When pouring drinks prepared from powder, ensure that the powder is completely dissolved. Residues or fruit pulp may negatively affect the functioning of the straw. The cup is not suitable for thick drinks. • During transport, slide the closure to maintain cleanliness and avoid liquid leakage. In small children, tooth enamel can be damaged, even if unsweetened liquids are given. • Always check the temperature of food before feeding. • Discard at the first signs of damage or wear. • Store unused parts out of reach of children. • Never attach to strings, ribbons, laces, or loose parts of clothing. The child may choke. • Always use the product under adult supervision. • The cup is intended for children from 8 months and is not suitable for feeding younger infants. Keep small parts out of reach of children: - choking hazard - risk of finger pinching • Always check part B of the spout for signs of wear and replace it at the first visible damage. • If cup F is damaged internally (e.g., scratched), it should be replaced for hygiene reasons. • NUK cups and spouts are only compatible with products from the same series. The drinking system consisting of parts B, C, D, E can only be used with cap A to ensure proper functioning. • Part E contains a stainless steel weight, making it unsuitable for microwaves. Disassembly and cleaning For thorough cleaning, disassemble the cup into individual parts. 1. Pull the sliding closure A2 out from any side of the lower part of cap A1 by pulling on it. 2. Unscrew the lower part of cap A1 from cup F. 3. Disconnect adapter C from straw B downwards. 4. Pull straw B down from the cap. 5. Disconnect adapter C, flexible tube D, and weight by pulling. 6. Wash parts in warm water with dishwashing detergent, soaking if necessary. Rinse in clean water and shake off excess water. Dry without assembling the parts. 7. Store the cup without packaging, disassembled into individual parts: straw B, cap A, and cup F. Tips: • The product (except for straw B and tube D) can also be washed in the dishwasher. Aggressive dishwasher detergents may damage the material. • Some food products may cause discoloration of the material (e.g., carrot juice) or change its smell (e.g., fennel tea), which does not affect the product's usability. • Do not use sharp objects for cleaning (risk of damage - especially for straw B and tube D). Assembly 1. Insert straw B from the bottom into the lower part of cap A1 and pull it through from the other side until you hear a click (audible snap). 2. Place the sliding closure A2 in the correct position on the lower part of cap A1 and press down with a flat hand until it snaps into place audibly. 3. Connect adapter C, tube D, and weight E together. 4. Then slide adapter C from the bottom onto straw B. 5. Screw the assembled cap with the drinking system onto the cup.
