The child can also play independently, as the set includes a notebook with various hours. The child flips through the pages and sets the times found there.
The board also describes the relationships between units of time - how many seconds are in a minute, how many minutes are in a quarter, how many minutes are in an hour, how many hours are in a day, etc. With this information, the child can learn many useful things.
