HOW TO PLAY THE MINI KALIMBA
Hold the kalimba in your hands and gently slide the tines down with your thumbs while firmly holding the kalimba with your other fingers. The numbers represent the kalimba notes: 1 is C, 2 is D, and so on. Experiment, combine notes together, create your own melodies, and change how hard you press the tines to achieve a quieter or louder sound.
The instrument can be tuned with a tuning hammer (if you don't have one, use a small wooden or rubber mallet). To properly tune the kalimba, use gentle taps — a small change makes a big difference in sound!
