The 29mm larger diameter design of has lighter weight, better stiffness and better waterproof performance than the common 24mm steel spindle. The TEO carbon crank undergo standard compression testing, with a force of 1500N (≈153 kg) applied to each pedal side (35mm position) to measure displacement.
